I am a huge supporter of Virginia wine. I started exploring wineries with my parents after I finished college – it was their empty nest activity. Back in 2008 there weren’t that many wineries local to Virginia, and now there is over 250 of them. Wine tasting is one of my favorite activities when traveling, or hanging out with girl friends, or meeting up with my family, or really any time. K and I always like to find a winery to try after a long hike, it’s become somewhat of a tradition. So much, that I even included it in my bachelorette weekend (#hikethenwine)!
