Goodbye 2018

It’s the last day of 2018, and in the midst of all the cleaning and errands done today, I’ve been thinking about everything that has happened in the past year. There were some really high highs and the occasional low. Overall, I’d say 2018 was a great year for me experience-wise. There is definite room for improvement in the goals I made back in January and so 3 of them will definitely be a priority in 2019 – but I’ll talk more about that tomorrow when I highlight my 2019 goals. I will say I ROCKED my 101 list. I only had a goal of crossing 5 things off and I accomplished 10+ instead! I have a whole page dedicated to that list, so feel free to pop over and check it out 🙂

Today I want to focus on the highlights of each month through photos. I love photography, and can be the annoying one randomly snapping photos of friends or great views. But it’s so worth it!!

So without further ado, my 2018 highlights –

January 2018 – We got engaged on New Year’s Day!

February 2018 – we went on a ski/snowboarding trip for our friend’s birthday!

March 2018 – We went to Vegas to watch Vegas 7s (international rugby tournament)!

April 2018 – Spent Easter Sunday hiking in the Shenandoah Mtns!

May 2018 – We ran the USMC Semper5 for the 3rd time (and got K’s little sister to run with us!) and hiked Old Rag Memorial Day weekend!

June 2018 – My sister threw me an awesome bridal shower!

IMG_5808July 2018 – We traveled down to Wilmington NC for the 3rd summer in a row for K to play in the Cape Fear 7s rugby tournament!

August 2018 – I celebrated with some of my favorite people for my bachelorette party. We went to Adventures on the Gorge in West VA for some rafting, paddle boarding, and ziplining!

September 2018 – WE GOT MARRIED!!!

20180919_221126000_iOSOctober 2018 – I watched a lot of rugby. But traveled to Raleigh & DC for it!

November 2018 – K took me to Buffalo for a birthday trip that involved friends, Niagara Falls, and the Buffalo Bills!

December 2018 – There was more rugby with one more 7s tournament but the real awesomeness was we moved into a house!

This was definitely a year of big events and traveling for/with friends. I loved every second of it and I’m looking forward to continuing some of it into the new year.

Goodbye 2018, you were so good to me – XOXO
